Legacyby jmritzComment: The simplicity of this brings to mind Barnett Newman. But it has a haptic quality more reminiscent of Tapies. It's interesting that I should compare this to the work of painters, but, for that matter, this goes beyond photography. Maybe that's the real challenge for the viewer -- appreciating this as a photograph. It's an image that requires thought, meditation even -- and we just don't do that here at DPC.
