What's Up, Dock?by ShrinkComment: Not much here to hold interest. If your subject is the dock, it might help to get closer to it or employ some other technique to bring the viewer's eye to it. The dappled lighting from the tree is more apparent on the grass, and so it misses the mark. This distractions in the water don't help either. |

Calm Surrenderby NeilComment: This was probably beautiful in real life, but sunsets are hard to process -- especially in Basic Editing. This seems muddy, possibly because of hand shake (did you use a tripod?). Also, it's not the best example of dappled light. Still, the colors are beautiful, and it is well composed. |

Standing Tallby Nikolai1024Comment: The blue bugs me. I think some color balance adjusting and noise reduction would have helped. The border doesn't do much either. Otherwise, nicely composed and an intersting dappled light effect. |
