Great colors -- a fun casual shot. It's overexposed in places (hat and shoulders mainly) and I think it lacks texture from either the harsh lighting or too much noise reduction. F16 might be too small.

Not sure how this will do for you, but I like it the more I look at it. Overexposed, yes, but it brings out great contrast and saturation -- patterns too. Good job composing and processing an otherwise plain scene.

Thanks for pointing out Nixter's work anyway; I like this a lot and would say you're not too far off. Composing/Framing this from the waist down was a good decision. Good contrast. Not sure how I feel about the vignette. I guess it works. Without the border to complete it, it might be too much.
