The other lights of Vegasby beekperComment: I like the ripples in the water. Are those raindrops? The shadow on the left distracts the eye from the lights and colors. Perhaps if you included more one could tell what it was, or perhaps you cold crop it out all together. I like the subject and the clever title. |

Turtleby tolovemoonComment: Tiny! Lovely details on the stripes. Wish you could have gotten a bit greater DOF. The dark blue background works well out of focus, but I'd like to see more of the turtle clearly. Also maybe cropped a bit less of the turtle and the finger holding it. |

The Disappearance of America's Family Farmsby kirbicComment: The building acts as a frame withing the frame - seeing through it to the horizon. The pale colors do work well with the title, the bard seems to be disappearing. The details on the side are a bit distracting - the trees on the right and the rusty object inside the barn on the left. I might crop in on both sides - would make the barn seem even more frail. |

Shyby dr rickComment: Very cute, I like how her eye is framed by the greenery. I like you you can see her shy smile in her eye. The DOF works in the sense it adds to her hiding, but the large blurry rise is distracting. Would be better without the rose bush at all and just the hedge. As is, you could crop the right hand side, losing the rose and keeping the green. |

running highby jjbeguinComment: Jean-Jacques,
Congrats on the unexpected 3rd in POV- well deserved, and thank you for pointing this photo out. What a soaring effect. Everyone of you pictures is so "rich" - I look forward to finding them in each challenge. And they do stand out - such quality and simplicity. When are you going to publish a book of your work? |

Teetor-Totterby snowflakeComment: I like how the sign glows from under the snow. The trees and gray sky make a nice backdrop. Well composed with the sign on the thirds line. 8 |

No Parkingby jcoelhoComment: Simple, effective. I'd include a bot more at bottom left - just complete the bottom of the pole and continue the sidewalk to frame the bottom edge. 9 |

Islandroad?by garlicComment: I like how the sign leans right in and announces itself. The truck seems to rumble on obliviously - the grittiness and bit of blur add to this feeling. I like the snowy mountain in the distance. Nice frame too. |
