What good fortune - or perhaps more an example of persistence and patience on your part. A lovely diagonal wave of northern lights hanging over the city - with the moon in a perfect spot. I like the stars peeking through. Would make a lovely poster. Wish there was a bit more contrast between the green and the night sky. 9

I like the abstract shapes and beautiful colors. Maybe cropping closer would draw the viewer in better, right now it is just so much black.

I like this composition - the eye in one corner and the arch of the eyebrow diagonally opposite. Catching the reflection of the fire in the eyes is a great idea. It comes off as a bit too subtle - I would like to see more fire - like the reflection from a fireplace. 6

Interesting to use a flame to represent a tear. It is the perfect shape, and the blue gas colored flame reminds one of a watery cartoon tear. The yellow/orange glow from inside the skull and illuminating the skull is a nice contract in color. Wish it were deeper focus, and a little sharper overall. 7

This is fun. I like the diagonal of the words,- they give motion to the curling burnt edges of the paper. Wish there were a bit more flame, but I do like the subtle glow of the paper as it smolders. 9

Nice idea. Isn't there a pepper flavored vodka? I like the blue and the dramatic gradient of the background. Wish the line of the table was'nt slightly tilted, and the silvery label, is it? it is a bit distracting. Nice flames, nice work with the glass. 8

Novel idea, well executed. I think this photo really stands out in this challenge. I like the flames, but little details like the texture on the line between shadow and light really make it good. blue background is a nic contrast with the orange flames. 10

I like the mood here - the mists, the green/blue cast to the water and mountains. I like the castle in silouette. I might crop some of the water at the bottom to close up the composition a bit more - bring more attention to the castle and mountains.

What a scottish moment - the gray clouds, the green grass, the rocks and the rainbow. Good capture of this dramatic valley - I like the composition with the meeting point of the hills being on the "thirds" line. I like the refelction in the water and the texture of the grass peeking through.

I like your concept and the colors. The lighting really hightlights the texture of the paint o the bristles. I wish there were splashes of paint in the background, it distracts and detracts from the nice composition. I'd almost want to crop it down just tp the bristles
