Nice composition, nice details in the feather even though they are bright. Wish the background weren't so busy - could you blur it a bit or darken it?

This crazy angle makes the viewer grab on to a table to stablilize - nice presentation! Wish there were more detail in the sculpture - hard to do against the bright sky, but with the advanced rules you could try a little burning/dodging. 7

I like the ripples in the water and the reflection - the curve of the basin(?) the flower is sitting in. I wish the flower were exactly centered (L-R) or entirely uncentered.

Very abstract at this high contrast. Looks very flat with the light from above, perhaps would be more 3D if there were more light from the side. I'd crop down as well - too much white space.

Hardly in the balance Nature intended. Looks like some motion blur on the top turtle's legs. Wish there were more contrast, and sharpness.

Fascinating action shot. I like the flying bitsof wood, but they also make it hard to see the subject. Perhaps instead of a flash, or in addition to the flas a strong light from the side?

Clever idea, an interesting illusion. The lighting is not very illuminating, and the reflections are distracting. If the lighting could help in the the illusion that the glass in suspended and perhaps be more dramatic, and the background should be flatter without crinkles and shadows. Perhaps against black, and on a black table would issolate the subject better.

well lit, interestingly composed, but such an odd subject. The treatment of the subject is so traditional, but the subject is so silly - ther is an imbalance between the two. For technique I'd give you a 9 or 10 but for subject I just don't know what to say. - 6?

I like the subject and the black background. I like how you've shifted the composition to the right, which actually balances it nicely in the frame (rather than center it). I think softer lighting would match the mood better, but this lighting does illuminate the subject well, 7

Comment:
A compelling subject that works with this challenge in multiple ways. I wish the composition matched the subject better - perhaps face on, rather than the side and lighting to show the strength in both arms. The flash is just too harsh and the background too random.
