Escape From NYCby charmayneComment: Full of feeling, nicely composed, nice tonal range. Fits well with the challenge - doubly so with the poeme about words! |

Speechlessby gsingalComment: Cool looking bus. It is a great subject for a photo. If you'd found it elsewhere than on the highway you might have had more time to think about composition. Perhaps this odd bus rendered you speachless, but I don't think it really fits the challenge. |

these are the days of our livesby fstopopenComment: I like the color blue in the mountains. I wish the sand was lit better - more contrast? To make it hold up to the impact of the mountains and the bright sky. I might crop some off the top to bring the focus down on the word more? |

Ignorance is bliss...by PatrolComment: Would that some words were this obvious in reality. I like your composition, framing the bottom of the photo with the hand, cig and ash tray with the bix and warner beyond the smokers attention, but right in ours. |

Bargainby JPRComment: While the focus and light are good on the photo of the model, the woman pushing the pram is out of focus and overlit. I like how you framed the top of the picture with the big red "Bargain" sign. |

Strainedby HarrygComment: I wish I could see something through the holes - perhaps berries or pasta? It would add maning to the words here. |

Offby crabappl3Comment: What a great action shot! I like the facial expressions, the balancein the composition, the loss of balance in the subject too, and I like te sepia tone. 9 |

Graceby BradComment: What a graceful motion/position you've captured. I like the sweep on the lines in the ice that mirror the movement of the skater. Wish that black gap weren't there!! |

Natural Harmonyby cmangisComment: I really enjoy this. I like the multiple levels created by the flowers floating above the dark depths of the leaves. Very sharp, nice range of grays. 8 |

making balanceby JohannesFrankComment: High drama and contrast! The sky is a bit grainy as a result of the pumped up saturation. But the overall effect is pleasing. It is a great sculpture to give a feeling for acheiving balance. I like how you've put it all to one side and used the cloud to balance the composition. 7 |
