A Splash of Colorby shabbychicComment: The orange reflections in the water are vibrant as is the orange itself - but the motion blur detracts from the image - crystal clear color calls for crystal clear focus, IMO. Good composition - perhaps a little bit off the bottom? |

Mantlepieceby shamrockComment: A daring composition - a bit too drastic perhaps. If you showed the line of the mantle below it might seem more reasonable to have the picture extend so far to the left. Your lighting has created some stark shadows, which I find distracting - perhaps lighting from two directions, or use a bounce to fill in the back? |

Burst of flavorby PatrolComment: Good idea - the subject a a great match for the challenge. Wish the focus was better and the background were whiter. The raised contrast and color saturation has created a wierd ine between light and shaddow on the orange. |

Peppersby GatorguyComment: Very pleasant to look at - well lit, the peppers seem to glow - especially the orange one. I wish the reflection wasn't cut off at the bottom, I'd prefer a bit of black space at the bottom and more black at the top - perhaps placing the line between reflection and subject right on the thirds line. |
