Lory Birdby ginjerComment: Nice detail in the feathers and great colors. I'd like to see some bottom and left cropped off the gray and green blur pull my eyes away from the bird. I know you want to watch not to crop the beak too close - perhaps if you tilted the picture a bit clockwise first? |

Young Loveby jjhoustonComment: I like the way his white shirt and her white dress blend, almost making them one person. They look nice frames against the ocean (is it real? it seems very flat - perhaps better lighting?) Your horizon is tilted and there are some odd white space at the left and right edges of the photo. There are some distracting vertical lines in the sky. Focus isn't quite sharp. |

Mat Barberby hstegComment: The yellow of the stage lights is fun and puts the viewer in the "concert mood." Mat's yellow shirt predominates and draws the eye away from his expressive face - perhaps a little selective burning to add some atmosphere and direct the eyes more? |

Callby rscorpComment: Nice texture, and the composition all out of alignment works well with the idea of age and neglect. |

Lake Pontchartrain July 2005by theonemuleComment: I like the way tree and bench frame the picture. The line of sale boats draw your eye into the picture towards the bright cloud. I would crop out the edge of the building at right - I feel like it stops me short just as the rest of the picture lifted me up into my imagination. |

Realm of the Deerby AlexSaberiComment: Woah! Is this real? What increadible light and colors - all at the moment 4 bucks arrive on the scene! Nice composition as everything seems to converge toward the bottom center. I like the out of focus forground - it place the viewer in the middle of this remarkable moment without distracting. |

Early Morning Balanceby LVEComment: Nice reflections, pretty clouds. A very tidy composition - it does have that hopeful morning light. |

Radiant Prairie Dogby scalvertComment: DOF and backlight do a nice job of highlighting the subject. Not a very interesting composition, or context - perhaps you could have made more of the backlit leaves and grass in the foreground as a compositional part of the image? |

A New Blend ?by Postgate1Comment: Very nice lighting - the reflection off the counter top really highlights the humerous(frog) part of your subject - nice even lighting on the normal(coffee cup) part of the subject. This is exactly what the chalenge calls for! Perhaps could be a little brighter and a bit more contrast a bit more color saturation? |
