the long shadows create lovely lines that match the line of sand, The gulls are clear and distinct against the sand, the blue shade on the chests of the birds matched the oceam blue. Nicely balanced, pretty to look at.

A little unfortunate that the tree is right behind him.. makes him look like he is swallowing the branch. Howver, a nice crisp photo - you can see the viens in the pouch! The white of the bird stands out as well as its yawn!

Funny this photo looks very familiar...take a look at mine when you get a chance - could almost be mirror image. I like how your flash fills in all the color, and really highlights those wiskers.

I really like this photo - all those birds just hangin there! and in the back the trio of sky, mountain and water (iceland, no?) You feel right in the middle of it. But at the same time the photo is too busy, the arbitrary cropping and what birds are or are not it focus. But that is the nature of the subject thus it makes it more real...I just can't make up my mind
