very interesting idea - I like the "digitizing" effect the wire screen gives, and the miriad reflections in the water drops. Many choices of how to look at things, and wonder what is real - and the one real thing is out of focus. Fits the challenge well, and it is a good photo - well composed with the black glasses balancing the black coat. 9

I Made a Choice

Nice sharp gun heading out to confront reality - the red pills blurry, in the past, the choise is made. The clump of pills on the right is confusing because they all blend together and at first you're not sure what they are (perhaps you meant them to look like blood?) I also wish the bottom center pill wasn't cropped, but fully in the picture.

nice swirl of a bullit, good clear refection of "neo" how did you avoid the reflection of the camera? I think I like the contrast between the sharp bullit and the soft gun barrel - cropped like this the barrel almost looks like a skull staring at the viewer. I do find the gray edge of something (upper right) distracting, and I might crop the top a little to make a straight line of the top of the barrel. Good work with the subject - The matrix is something dangerous that must be confronted.

I betting you are going to hear this question a lot - but I'll ask anyway - what is it? I'm intrigued. I like the burning orange color against the blue (I'd crop the top black unless I'm just clueless about its meaning) The leathery texture of the mark in the middle is a strange contrast with the soft blurr of the rest of the photo. I'd say crop top and left to make it completely abstract -

A brave and interesting subject choice -this entry really had me thinking - Blue or red? does prozac create a a false reality that seems good, or allow us to escape from the trap of our illusion of a bad reality? I'll choose the second. Prozac makes me useful to myself not the machines:) Now, the photo - I like your choice to make the warning lable central to your subject - don't operate dangerous machinery (or let it operate you!) The pills in the forground balance the composition. I wish they were more sharp. The lighting is a bit harsh, something more difuse would be better. A neat idea - maybe the whole photo desaturated except the green on the pills?

Increadible clouds! Very dramatic subject. The purple contrasts very well with the yellow light. Terrific how you caught this. Wish the earthly subject matter was as interesting as the heavenly (at least more cohesive) But that is a little too much to ask! 8

Very novel. what a blue! great golden orange! Terrific composition - draws you in before you even know what you are looking at - water rushing over a dam? Wish we could see even more blue, and the white water at the bottom had some more texture. But this is one of my favorites! 9

I think I'd enjoy this even more if the leaves weren;t on the strawberry - just the strawberry on a bed of mint - perhaps some clinging to the edges of the berry. Nice colors - you can almost taste them!

fabulous colors and a creative idea! The detail is delightful - the weave of the hat, the curl of the hair. 10
