One Tiny Weed on the Infinite Stepsby magnetic9999Comment: the curving of the steps really adds to the feeling of the steps stretching on and on. I like the composition of the steps going up (or down) corner to corner. Simple lines of light and shadow really with the deatail of the weeds - very nice. |

Beingsby zeuszenComment: What lush greens - I like tha balance between the trees and the grass with the section of shadowy trunk and old pine needles between them, a simple, nice composition. You get the feeling of the age/timelessness of trees. 8 |

Infinite Litesby ColeyComment: This must have been a lot of work - you got the tea-lights lined up so perfectly. Nice to have the exposure so that the background is black. I wish the line of lights came from a corner rather than falling off the top of the picture. The resolution (?) makes the image a bit grainy. |

Path to the infinite sea...by BobsterLobsterComment: Marvelous - the lines of the boardwalk curving out to the horizon, those three people toward the end giving us some scale, very nice range of grays. I might crop a bit off the sky...but perhaps that lends to the feeling of infinite. 9 |

Seeking Forgiveness by dsidwellComment: Wonderful. One of my two favorites - this one is so emotionally and visually compelling. The guestures of the figure, the billowing robes that stand out from the bright sand, suspeniding the arms and focusing the viewer on their gesture appealing to the line of the horizon - the lines of clouds give such a feeling of distance and size of the world yet are simple anough to bring our eyes back to the figure and wonder how he fits in. 10 As much as I like my other favorite - this one is SO compelling, it HAS to win. Good Luck! |

Mighty Grace by willemComment: feels like something out of Middle Earth. I like the lines of light under the trees, the branches arching above. 9 |

Natural fractalby rhipsterComment: One of my two favorites - I adore the detail, the simple whiteness, the curve of the edge, perfect against the soft green (great use of DOF)Nice composition with the line coming down into the corner, leaninding up into the curl at the top. Wonderful. 10 |

Fallenby eric678Comment: grace by contrast - the organic lines of the leaf against the stark perpendiculars of the fence. |

Taking a Restby HomunculusComment: I like the almost hidden figure, blending in with the trees, at peace with the surroundings. I like the horizontal composition, meks me feel like I am walking through the woods, peering through the trees. Seems like it could be sharper. |

Church Basementsby amsmythComment: A nice idea - certainly true that such places can be full of real grace, but the photo is very stark, perhaps the lighting could have been warmer and the composition more focused, welcoming. Perhaps with people - it is the people that bring the grace after all. |
