Rice fields are so pretty. I didn't know it was a rice field at first, so I assume you couldn't go running through it or anything. If you could, this would make a great setting for a photo shoot with a model. Scarecrows work too!

I love the soft look of this. Works well with the brightness of the building. This works great with the square crop too. I think I may have liked the apple core, but to each his (or her) own.

7/3 - In the Weeds

Wow, so many things to say. First, every server I know (including my small stint at Red Lobster) says 'in the weeds'. Got friends in South FL and North FL. Never knew it was a golf reference. Second, I work for a Taco Bell franchisee (in the office, not in the Taco Bell) and I eat that stuff almost every day...still not totally over it yet (gross, huh?). And lastly, I love this shot! It has that 70's music box cover look. The light and subject are just right. I think this would look even more vintage if it were desaturated just a bit. Either way, very lovely image!
