in the groveby ErinMComment: Reading through the comments on this photo I see he is your son. He is an amazing model - not only handsome but he has presence - he holds his pose and it's an uncommon one .. his expression tells a story ... many stories depending on the viewers imagination. Your pping is amazing - I think I am so outclassed on this sc that I will stick with shooting birds and just watch you all from a distance. :) |

paddock by ErinMComment: Just wow again .. I have been living in a shell in that I didn't know your work .. amazing .. I can't imagine what I am going to find in your layers folders. The shadow in this shot, especially the tail of the horse mimics the curve of the mountain - impressive. |

fog settles inby ErinMComment: When I saw your name on the sc list, I realized I didn't know your work so I thought I would go and have a peek and this was my first peek. Wow. What an excellent photo - a masterful use of the fish eye - I would love to walk that road in the fog - the reflection is understated but perfect. I love the bush in the f/g. The composition is outstanding as is your choice in the dual tone tint.
Now I have to go and look some more. I love finding new (to me) photographers I admire. |

The Blue Bag Ladyby jagarComment: Congratulations on the front page for this shot .. it's a great street shot (of which I stink at) It meets the challenge.. it has all the elements of a good story, a sad one but that's OK as DP often has too many rainbows and flower stories .. I love the pattern of the bricks she is walking on.. the fact that her face and body are a silhouette really make for a better composition.. what is the b/g? I love that I don't know and I can make up my own story about it .. just an amazing street shot and I am so glad to see it on the front page. |

A thunderstorm in Blueby vtruanComment: I have to admit I thought this would place higher although the front page is nothing to sneeze at unless you are allergic to an unjust 2 and a 3 vote (even a 4 on this shot)on a photo that meets the challenge perfectly, is beautifully photographed, is interesting, has drama, is unusual, meets technical guidelines such as rule of thirds etc, wonderfully pped ...but what the heck - you made the front page, congratulations! ahchoo - where is my claritin? |

Two Thirdsby cabaComment: Perfectly meets the challenge, wonderful, interesting textures, crisp focus, fascinating shadows ... what 3 idiots gave this a 3? I won't tell you what I think about the people who gave you a 4 vote (grin) No I don't try to win popularity contests .. I just love this shot and congratulations on placing 6th .. doing my happy dance for you! By the way, it's a rumba! Message edited by author 2011-07-27 03:53:21. |

1 Part Each: Glass, Water, Light by mefnjComment: There could be 9000 more glass shots and I will enjoy each one because they are all as unique as a landscape, seascape or any other type of shot... unique according to the photographers vision of it .. I am enjoying your take on this glass shot .. wonderfully done, suits the challenge, beautifully photographed and congratulations on your ribbon. |

Rhapsody in Blue by MargaretNetComment: Well, Well, it is very similar to your other image I liked so much and it really packs a punch with so much blue .. I am really enjoying seeing your body of work especially because you haven't been here all that long and you are getting ribbons galore. Now I really can't wait to see what you bring back from your balloon expedition and I expect great things - I really doubt that you will let something such as fear of heights stop you because you have found your ... sweet spot :) Loving it .. you go girl! |
