I like your take on the challenge ... for me drama drums up a lot of quite different photos and it is nice to come across this one that is so normal by comparison ...Maybe it should be a tad more crisp but that is a minor quibble ... nice pp and good choice of b&w.

Coming back to bump this shot ...This photo tells a great story ... the figure in the b/g is ominous but the title doesn't make it clear ... does the person want to be friendly? Which creates an ambiguity in the story .. does the figure want to help the cat or hurt it and the cat seems to understand and looks wary .. I love the way you pp this shot .. the oof b/g is perfect - a 9 from me.
