What an amazing view you had ... nice example of the rule of thirds - the sky lacks detail, maybe due to the fog rolling in. Nice job on revealing the texture of the trees. All in all, a good job, especially when you only had basic editing to work with.

This photo makes me want to visit there. Your pp made this shot in my opinion, as I can't imagine it as being so spectacular in color. Your focus is so crisp, from the water to the top of the steeples that I know it must look fantastic as a print. Wonderfully composed and nothing I can see to suggest any improvements.

Good tonal range in this shot - I like how you kept some detail in the foreground.

There is a lot of movement in this shot. They are brave souls to be on such a fragile looking structure :) I like how the sky (quite a dramatic one)draws my eye to them - nice job in your b&w conversion.

Quite a different take on landscape but it holds my interest and is a welcome break from the majority. The cane is the visual that, to me, explains your title. I look at the items by his feet and wonder if he was feeding the pigeons and had no luck, as the rest of the photo is clear from debris. At first I thought the shot would benefit from being cropped on the top but then you would lose the natural frame.

I like all the action in this shot .. at first glance it doesn't look like much is going on as the tree is the focal point ... and then you see the waves and the drama in the sky - I like how the sun is shining on the water between the two points of land. If this shot was cropped a little on the right, the tree's anchorage to land wouldn't show - I wonder if that would add to the overall composition? The tonal range in this photo is very good and I enjoyed looking at your shot.

Your post processing in this shot is amazing. The details in the Great Blue Heron's feathers is spot on. Great technically and you have given the bird a much different look than many of the Heron shots I have seen.

Nicely done - I am interested in finding out the settings you used - your model did a good job of standing still. The sky is so unusual and the lighting is superb.

The water is so still that it takes my breath away. The composition is excellent - I imagine you spent quite some time waiting for the perfect lighting - your focus is impeccable. I imagine this photo will do very well.
