Bear Stareby MagnumphotographyComment: Excellent shot of a bear in it's natural habitat. Great job focusing on the bear and not the leaves in front, which I like because it makes the viewer know you were out in the wild. |

Returning home with the catchby ThingFishComment: I really don't understand why your boat didn't get any comments. I didn't vote in this challenge but would have given it a 6 or a 7. It's wonderfully done, the sea gulls following it reveal it to be a working boat and give it a strong sense of motion and tells a story. The reflections on the water in front of the boat are an added bonus. I know getting a comment after the fact isn't nearly as satisfying as during voting. It truly is weird that this shot got no comments. |

The-Heron2by vawendyComment: It's a magical shot - the silhouette of the heron is crisp and the bokeh in the water sparkles like jewels. |

Dog - n- Toyby kenskidComment: you must be sick of reading how adorable this shot is. (grin) The sweet dog, the comical hydrant .. reading the dogs mind..."you expect me to do what to this toy" .... but I reiterate all that to you.. it is adorable and well photographed. 8 |

Rareby h2Comment: Even without the different colored petal, this photo is rare. Such crispness on every plane of the flower.. such beautiful rich whites that hold detail and still glow and then the finishing touch, a stalk for it to continue it's life cycle. Brilliant. 8 |

Strength & Beautyby digichicComment: Variations of this photo have been done many times but you did it well. The flower is not growing out of a sidewalk - it may or may-not have been placed in the crevice of the wall but I want to believe that it is growing there... defying all odds and thriving in spite of it's inadequate food source, the rich soil a rose demands. You sold me..I am giving it an 8 |

Mr. Blue Eyesby wetlandComment: There are some flaws that are evident in this photo but I cannot take a decent macro shot for the life of me so I gave it an 8 based on the detail of the creatures eyes. |
