It would help if we had some idea of the subject matter. A little focous here would do wonders. Is this in the wrong challenge by any chance? Could you ahve been looking for the macro? If so I would guess that it is a wire rope connection with a burndy connecter and by the looks of it you have done what is commomnly refered to as saddling a dead horse. Or in other words put the burndy on the wrong way. You always put the saddle (the part you tighted the bolts on) on the live wire.

This one does absolutely nothing for me. I think it would be hard enough to guess what it is if it was in focus, let alone trying to guess what it is when it is out of focus. A bag of marbles?
