Black Fang, Pink Gums.by fmalanComment: Awsome DOF. I love that you can see so much detail. It looks like you need to floss a little more though. |

Knitting Needlesby RamblinRComment: Functional and about the size of a number 2 knitting kneedle I think. I like the tones of the yellows on the red it works well, and the lighting is not over done. Good shot. |

The Pencilberry Bushby posthumousComment: Nice I doubt that we will see any repeats with this one. I like your thoughts here, and the set up too. I would offer one thing and that would be to use a reflector and remove the shadows from the left side of your image, it is a little dark, that being said it is creative. Good on you. |

School Lunchby scarbrdComment: Now that's not only a lunch but you can eat and do your speling corrections at the same time. The shot is nicely set up and I like the angle of it as well. |

Entrapmentby MdwarrenComment: Nice use of the Evil Dead dude. Have you seen Evil dead the musical yet a must see for fans of the movie.
Now on to the photo. I like the use of light (it looks like a flashlight), it gives off soft tones and casts just the right shadow. The DOF is great with the nose and pencils being in focus and fading out from there. Good outside the box shot. I'll bet it was fun to do. |

High Contrast!by MihirCComment: you are never allowed to use text in your photo unless the special rules are in place and state that you can. In any case the rules are clear in this reguard. Not to mention that you never put your name on the entry because the whole point to the challenge is NOT TO KNOW WHO TOOK THE SHOT.
Sorry. It is a nice capture though. It could do with a little more focus but the colour is nice and the contrast stands out nicely. |
