Poppiesby PrismComment: this is sooo pretty! I love that killer red & you captured the papery look of a poppy so well! And their hairy legs (stems!) too. Pretty orientation with the repition of the curve of the bloom following that of the long grasses
can't wait to see your macros of inside those blooms!

hey- you gave me a start there telling me it appeared as though my macro lens was defective! I had actually wondered the same thing, had just gotten it checked at local Canon dealer & it's fine. whew!! that was strange coincidence :)
