I have no idea what that outer thing is. But, the composition, setup, lighting and the title are incredible. Predicting a blue for this. Hope this wins. I see a touch of yanko here. If not, no offense please.

Great composition. I washed out highlights doesnt seem to be bothering. But there is some noticeable noise. I don't know if it was your intent to show some noise.
