I live in the desert (nearly) and miss tree squirrels! I've seen a couple of ground squirrels around, but they are pretty scarce with all the nasty wild dogs running free in the neighborhhod (the wild dogs kill cats too, so I'm not so very fond of them). Sorry to hear the squirrels are annoying where you are, you can ship a few here :-) Cute image, BTW!

Great image, what a cutie you were! And yes, I checked out Sandy's image you refer to and the resemblance really is uncanny :-)
As for the boogers on the image, no matter how clean I seem to think my scanner is and how unscratched I think my photo is, I get some too. Annoying, but I just clone them into oblivion :-)

I think the overlay is wonderful, but then I really like overlays :-) But it is not the cool overlay that makes this image, it is the image itself which is fabulous! I guess I like the overlay because it masks things just enough for me to not be sure what I'm seeing...is that really a fence along the beach and two sailboats on the ocean? those birds are just great.
