I don't know if it was underrated but my afterthought is that for something like this, I would have been better with something that can provoke some kind of emotion in the viewer. I think the idea for my image was good but against close-up of beautiful eyes and faces, it didn't stand a chance...

Lovely backlighting on the "fuzziness" of the caterpillar. I like the light really helps us to see the "munched" parts of the plants it is on. Good job!

The B&W conversion and post-processing is amazing, technically, I cannot say anything, it is perfect. I just think carousels deserve color to help focus the eye and convey all their livelyness.

By the way... what's a Lucis Art filter?

Since you posted both, I guess I can choose which one I prefer... I like this one better because we see the eyes of your dog. It just makes for a more engaging image IMO.

Love the lighting. The mailbox looks like it's glowing. I would have tried to get rid of the dark area above the mailbox. Looks to me like we're losing some details from the top of it because it is against such a dark background. Just my opinion though.

Love the tilt you gave to the composition. I've to many airports myself and have never been able to come up with a way to jazz up this simple subject. The look of the lady is so sad, you wonder where but especially why she was going where she was headed...
