Very nice, detailed shot. I like how the seed head (looks like calendula) balances the white star flowers. I think the image could benefit from a little crop to the left and also a little lift in the highlights. The white of the flowers would pop more.

I think there is a bit of posterization in the image from the HDR processing. It's especially visible in the top of the unfolded center of the iris. I definitely prefer the other version.

Well I like it too and I am not really bothered by the blown highlights. I think it gives a lot of atmosphere to the shot. Your attempt at making the legs stand out from the rest worked. Good job.

Interesting the look of a night shot in B&W - never thought of it... I think it looks good. You made a nice composition and balanced the large area of water with the luminous building. I wish it was a bit sharper but reading the story about the hand rail, I think you did well with what you had. This is a case where getting the shot is more important than technical perfection IMO.

Bikes are so symbolic of China - it's a great subject. Nice crisp shot and I like the black & white wall with the line it creates int he frame. I'm not sure about the crop/composition. The little bit of broom (?) we see on the left side makes me want to see more of the context of this image. If you wanted this to be a teaser, it's very effective!
