Love the emotion in the eyes, this is a very stong image, Nice work! Edit to add: There is smoke showing, and a jazzy picture automatically makes me think of a smokey night club (imo) and if you were to give more room above the head it would have made up for the space on the right. I really thought this would have been front page if not top 10 at least, I like this idea more than just plain smoke. There are tons of pictures on this site that don't get the credit they deserve. (Its a pisser but its something we deal with.)

Nice subject...where's that located? LOL! The white balance looks off,(maybe temp). I've entered this church before in a challenge ... I didn't vote, I would have known who's this was and would have had to skip it.

Did you ever figure out where it leads? Thats kinda strange, maybe if it weren't so backlit, alot more detail could be seen, and that little house pulls some attention away, but I would have taken this shot too, regardless.
