unfortunately there are a couple of 'things' to improve (in my mind). while the composition is not bad at all, your choice of crop is a little too tight. You cropped off parts of the ears. While you tried to get the right eye into focus, the rest of the face is out of focus. A deeper DOF (smaller aperture value) would help here. The exposure is dead on. You did not lose any deatils in the whites. There are still some details visible.

while it show good thinking to leave the space in front of the horse to 'run into', the background could have been better controlled. The building in the background could have been cropped out. The tail seems more in focus than the head. well exposed.
