Chocolate Mint Creekby posthumousComment: I think this photo should have been composed to eliminate some of the pale sticks and branches hanging around the edges. It makes the picture seem a bit cluttered and the focus on the smooth water is lost. Zooming in and isolating one of the lovely moss covered rocks with water flowing past the front, I feel, would have had more impact. Well spotted though. |

Ruffled Silkby MaryOComment: I love the gorgeous, rich purple petals against the dark green. I'm not too sure about the composition though, maybe a closer crop (macro) to see more of the petals velvety texture, would have been good. |

Etuis (nee Sows' Ears)by GeneralEComment: Gorgeous colours. I like the crop as well, just not too sure about the dark fabric in the bottom left corner. It does not look as 'silky smooth' as the other two. |

Smooth As....by cogeroxComment: There's no doubt the hand looks silky smooth but the photo disturbs me a little cos it kinda doesn't make sense. Never mind, I kinda like it. |

Pathby zaflaboutComment: Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I love this photograph. It is normally quite difficult to get the exposure for this type of shot spot on, but IMO you have managed to do just that. There is detail in the foreground and the pillars are not overexposed either. The grain adds great detail to this shot and I love the way both the pillars and the lights are leading the figure in the direction of the square at the end. |

Stand out from greensby kepotComment: This looks more like a texture to me than grain, but I might be wrong. The colours of the flower are wonderful against the rich green background but they are placed too central in the frame. I would suggest using rule of thirds to position the flowers. |
