Flyingby Rach1969Comment: Well caught! If this is longjump, I hope you weren't close enought to land up with sand in your face! I love the facial expression! Concentration and determination, even in mid flight! |

Spookedby giegaComment: The highlights seem a bit bright but I like the way the shoreline angles from corner to corner and you caught a perfect take off! (Or is it a landing?) I like the overall sharpness of the bird with just the wingtips blurred to show the motion. |

Tattered & Torn by trevytrevComment: Oh poor little thing! Likes like a survivor of Hurricane Dean! Great irridiscent colours and I love the uncluttered, pastel background. |

flight of the by Golgo13Comment: Beautiful colours! It almost looks like the bee is resting on flames! Would have been nice if the bees wings were more visible though. His mother obviously never taught him how to pose! |

Sneak Attack !by kenskidComment: I love the pastel background and the focus on the large insect. I also like the way you have divided the picture into triangles with the tree. Unfortunately, the colours on the smaller insect are such a contrast to the rest of the image, that it looks almost like a cartoon image cut from a comic book. I would prefer the photo without the addition of the 'attacker'. |

Enchantingby -Bec-Comment: Gorgeous! I love the movement in the skirt and her hair. I think the shot would have been improved though if her body had been facing in the same direction but with her head turned towards the camera, looking over her left shoulder, just enough for us to see the side of her face. Not being able to see her face and have something to 'focus' on makes me, as the viewer, feel a little disconnected from the photo. Does that make sense? :-) |
