Dinner Upside Downby BlueZamiaComment: Of all your images, I find only this one disturbing. The halos are very eye-catching ... it looks like a poorly cut out paper squirrel pasted to a background. Unless you were targetting that look ... I would ditch this one from your otherwise excellent portfolio.
Just one man's opinion.
Edit: I would be interested in seeing the original if you care to share.

A Hard Hitby NowaytotellComment: Great capture ... ball in the shot ... observers reaction ... perfect timing ... exposure good ... but PLEASE make your shots to the 640 pixel maximum on the longer side so we can see the detail. |

Bright Eyedby NowaytotellComment: Originally posted by TIHadi: DNMC |

I agree with the others though ... with the hand cropped out it would have been super. Not because only a face without a hand or anything like that should be in a fill the frame challenge ... but because it is forshortened and bright.
I also agree that the brightness overall could have been pulled back a bit ... but the EYES are out of this world! ... fashion magazine quality! ... well basically everything in this image is super and honest from the chin line up. That is my opinion.
Edit: Sorry ... wanted to add ... except the brightness (as I mentioned above could have been pulled back a bit)
I hope this helps ... keep at it. Message edited by author 2007-02-05 12:01:04. |
