Try something for me (something I had to practice a lot with my Canon because I was coming from a Kodak P&S) Lower your ISO to 100 and slow your shutter speed down to around 1/60s see if that doesn't get your colours bright and poppy and smooth :) She is a fabulous little girl and I sure hope we get to see more of her over the next 29 days :)
