Jun 05 After.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: There is that bear again. Does that earring go over well with the ladies?? ;)
I like the edit on this a lot. I love selective desat when it's done with purpose :) |

Laura-revised.jpgby wehrmacherComment: Portratiure is a difficult thing. You must have light and shadow in certain places to keep the shot from looking flat and 2D. When you increased the contrast here, it made the hot spots on her face a whole lot brighter. A good way to increase contrast without actually brightening the image is add a layer of USM at 50, 50, 0 and tweak it down to where you like the look it gives you. You did a wonderful job of not getting reflections in the glasses AND I like the enlarged catchlights in her eyes. |

Day4-after.jpgby JakerComment: I like what you did with the tilt, much improved. If you want to add some action in that center cloud blank space, try cloning in one of the other clouds from another area of the image. :) I like the dark/light that you ended up with. Kinda cool actually. |

IMG_2948OR-played-with.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I like the added colour, the houses now pop out of the photo. I would have to agree on the sharpening. Try a history brush set to about 20% 20%, set it to the edit right before the sharpening, and pass it over the trees and rocks until it is faded back to a little bit of blur. Art told me about that nifty little tool :) |
