Nice comp and close up work. I love mussels, but there's some food you don't really want to look at TOO closely before you eat it! Yellow on the flesh seems just a tad unnatural on this one; maybe dial back the saturation just a bit?

Day 29 - Flag

Nice close up work, and I like how the light filtering through the flag at the bottom accentuates the texture. As an overall image though, I liked the thumb better than the full size ... composition looked cool on a thumb, but the top half of the flag is less interesting, and those grains detract.

Very orderly and symmetric. The road is so new and so bright against the surrounding landscape, and the colors and forms so meticulous, that it makes for an interesting image.

Great find. Those bright cherry warm colors look so out of place against the drab and dreary weather, as accentuated by the harried shopper carrying her umbrella and bundled up against the cold. The brightly colored clothes of the person behind the flower stand blend right in, and make her or him appear to be part of the cart.

He looks like he's heading in two different directions at once. Nice capture of the expression on his face, and you did well capturing that expression while fighting off the shade thrown by his cap. Nice start to your walkabout.

Interesting image of an ordinary subject. I like the composition and the transition from snow to stone and, strangely enough, I like the colors and the borders as well.

lol -- funny shot. I like how the lonely glove is placed on the one fence post that is bent at an odd angle. (Just read the other comments ... guess I'm not the only one that found that funny!). I love making photo collections of found objects like this.
