white balance kills this for me, as does the foreground distractions in the lower left of the frame.

Nice change of pace for this challenge. Good comp and processing, but would like to see one more element in the frame to really make it pop .... an interesting character (big daddy) walking along the tracks in the distance would be perfect

I love the comp and the shallow DOF with a recognizable background. My only nit is the harsh shadows on the pomegranate.

good eye, well seen and i like the high contrast. At first I didn't like the background edges, but after masking them off on the screen I do like it better the way you've done it.

very sharp, good closeup. I like the shallow DOF, but the background here is just a bit too distracting and competes with the main branch. Still a 7 from me, tho.
