This is another very nice shot, with soft light and wonderful muted colors. Some might find the exposure a bit dark and focus a little soft, but I think both work perfectly in this image, because they convey the twilight mood you've captured here.

This shot might be improved by coming in tighter on the first tree in the foreground, so you just see a thick trunk and some of its branches. That would give the viewer just the idea of the first tree, and then we'd see the full trees lined up behind it. If you were going to include the full first tree, I would have backed up just a bit so the uppermost branches weren't cropped out of the frame. I always have to remind myself to look at all the edges in the viewfinder when composing my shot, because that (for me) is always where the surprises end up when I download them onto the computer!

I really like the colors in this shot, and the soft focus on the trees in the background. The contrasting grey and green forms of the foreground lawn (?) add some visual interest to the picture too. You saw a good subject out the back door and did a nice job capturing it. This image has a subtle appeal, and is very pleasing to the eye.

A few suggestions for possible improvement: Most of the attraction of the image (for me) is in the colors and the background. I'm not sure the bird feeder itself adds a lot to the image where it is. Perhaps if it was off to one side or the other (as in the "rule of thirds") that would help. You might also try rotating and cropping the image so the bird feeder is straight up and down, instead of tilted at a slight angle (tho that may not work if it affects the horizon line too much.)

If you were shooting this again, you might try to move in closer to the bird feeder, and let some of it fill in the foreground in the frame, while keeping that nice background in the distance. Or use your telephoto to zoom in on it for the same effect, which will also have the effect of flattening the image and making distanct objects seem closer to those in the foreground.

Great shot! There were several cherry blossom pics in the challenge, but yours was far and away the best ... nice framing, well lighted, and smooth colors. Congrats on the well-deserved finish!
