I like the processing and oddness of this shot. It has the feel of an old '70s album cover where different images were pasted on to the background as some kine of statement on the inanity of modern urban life. That said, though, I don't like the building in the background to this shot. Love the foreground, hate the background. That's my comment!

Beautifully composed. I like the slightly oof on the purple stamen at top, but wondering how this would look with everything tack sharp as well. Nice lighting, again, as in all the shots you posted in this set.

Very cool abstract colors and forms. Nice revelation of an unnoticed little world.

Day 8 : Removal

Very cool angle and composition. The contrast between shadow and light is harsh but not too much so, as we still see some detail in the curve of the apple where the stem is attached. The stem end itself looks either a tad soft or a tad oversharpened, but makes a nice focal point for the image.

Cactus Thorns - Day 7

Wow -- beautiful colors and focus. I love how the blurred yellow of the needles in the background make this picture glow, and provide a nice contrast to the saturated greens in the foreground. Nice way to cap off 7 days of succulents!
