sorry, guess i was a little harsh in my earlier comment. some things we ALL seem to go thru as we grow as photographers is to take the obligatory "reflection of myself taking a shot" it has become very cliche, not your fault but it is what it is. also the EXTREME special effects in post processing, you will find will not be recieved well here. people want to see a shot that stands on its own. when you do this much to a shot it looks like a boring shot you tried to salvage with special effects.

of course all this is just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

thanks for you support, i didnt mind too much. in the last 2 days it went from a 5.4 to the current score AND i got a 8 from jj! I determined at the start to enter a portrait every f/s this year to try and learn my new lights so we'll see how it goes.
