i never really looked thru this challenge, this is really cool. this is a great idea of a haunted house, i am MUCH more freaked out by the thought of just seeing someone standing somewhere they should not be than some gory, bloody monster. much like the 6th sense, finding a girl in his tent in his room or some lady cooking in his kitchen in the middle of the night.

this has a different feel than alot of your shots. taken without the title it would make a cool album cover...like for someone such as beck.... (i said album...that dates me huh?)

i find it hard to tie the title to the picture. although i know their are plenty of people who honestly fall on hard times, imo, more often than not its self inflicted. as far as the shot itself i enjoy the journalistic nature of it but the overall color seems a little flat. might have been better in b&w /5
