Justa Peekby digifotojoComment: I like this, even in the thumbnail. The dark vignette and vibrant center of the flower give it the magic. |

Sunset 1-15-11 2 by picjunkieComment: Low key is good to set the mood in this one. I tend to do sunsets a lot brighter, but the near darkness seems natural in this shot. |

The Kitchen Sinkby GermaineComment: All the little details make this pretty interesting to see. I couldn't get near that sink as clumsy as I am. I would be afraid I would bump into something and half of the whatnots would go crashing around. I like the outside view too. Does that banana tree bear fruit? |

Boathouse Cafe Paddle Boatsby jomariComment: This one is exceptional for it's details being abstract, and the whole image not abstract. Order and confusion in the same package. That's very nice. |

BoyFaceby KelliComment: Technically speaking, I like the shallow DOF in this one because of the way the focus appears on the lines of sequins on their shirts.
I agree, the parade images you have been posting are quite a treat because they are so full of life, and the subjects appear to be having such a grand time. |

Blue Catby pmichaudComment: Sooo, this is an "ancient" image? I'm impressed. I like the general look of this. The vivid colors remind me of the Caribbean islands. and the way the people there do paintings. |

750 years and still standing by TrollManComment: This scene just looks as if a Leica would be the fitting camera to record it. It's very serene and pretty looking.
Congrats on your new ribbon! |

Lady Olgaby GermaineComment: By shooting evening and mornings, you make the scenery in your part of the world look first class. |

Canyon Viewby pmichaudComment: I saw part of the Rio Grande river canyon near Taos NM. What impressed me about it most was that the world was flat for miles, then suddenly there was this huge gash in the ground.
This angle does good in showing the receding layers and depths into the distance toward the bottom of the canyon. Not only did the explorers have to deal with the vertical aspect of it, there is a roaring river at the bottom to cross as well. |
