Soaring highby jgirl57Comment: Sharpening, either in camera, or in processing may be what caused the grain in the clouds, and the halo around the eagle.
It's tough to keep detail in both parts of a shot like this with a dark colored bird against a bright sky.
Composition & subject are great though. |

I use one of the little Canon SX 510 HS cameras for a walkabout camera, and love it. It's a powerful little tool in a small light package. Message edited by author 2016-01-22 00:08:07. |

Almost circles... almost concentric...by redpandaComment: It's a Spiny Orb-Weaver.
These little spiders are quite common here in South Florida.
They are tough to photograph due to the huge contrast in white & black on them.
