earthyby ordinaryangelComment: Good idea to shoot in the dark. It makes the bottom of the water have detail. Fish eye look sucks you into this one too. It's a mucky looking place. |

OINKby whiteroomComment: A classic dirt shot. Nobody knows dirt better than Mr Oink! |

Wet Forest Floorby OmniComment: I wonder what that is at the top. This image seems to be busy, with no simple way to look from one side to the other without getting tangled up in the middle. I just drift around without finding a strong visual hook. I'm not trying to be mean, just honest about my personal response. I appreciate it when others are with me, as it helps me to set higher expectations for my work. |

Pretty In Pinkby JudiComment: Looks a bit hard lighted for me. I feel like she's mad about having to be this dirty for some reason. I think that it's because there's no dirt on the pink, and that makes it look just not quite "candid". |

One Load at a Time...by JEFFJSBComment: I feel it would be better with some action. I see that there's no operator in the cab. I understand that it isn't always easy to get this kind of shot on construction or mining places due to insurance regs ect. I miss the smoke, dust, and noise part of this one. |

Life Linesby GiorgioComment: This looks honest. Good title, and the subject stands out over the background as it should. |

Dirty Businessby EssAreDubyaComment: Fits the theme, just don't seem to have the "punch" that it needs to stand out. Tech is good. |

Down the Roadby JutildaComment: What a pleasing photo! I enjoy shooting scenes like this too, but don't have the software to do the magic after the capture. Thanks for posting it. |

Leap of Faithby optionComment: Scary looking spot. You live in a beautiful part of the world, but too cold for me. I use a monopod when I hike around, and it allows me to get angles and places that I would not other wise be able to get. I would suggest that you may make good use of one as well. With the MP you could hold the camera right out over the edge of the fall using the self timer. They also make a good walking stick while hiking up and down rough terrain, and allow you to get a shot from a high angle in crowds or over an obsticle like a short tree blocking a great view.
I like the pic just the way you shot it, with everything in focus, as the sharpness of the bottom of the gorge increases the feeling of great distance to the bottom. Keep clickin' |
