Very nice image. Sort of centered works good in this image, as it allows room for the reflection in the water. Did you wish you had a ladder so that you could get higher, and get more of the lake on the back side of the rocks? I see it peeking thru in a few spots. It's a beautiful scene, and captured just right, just as it is.

I like this a lot. I feel like you could have a good afternoon of shooting here if you had time, and were able to move about in the river to set up angles. This type of art seems to be getting more attention lately. These must be done by a very strong artist who likes cold wet feet.

I like reflections. This may look even better or at least different, if you flip it over. The ripples give it an artsy look, like a small section of a famous frenchman's paintings.

It seems that you live and shoot images in the heart of the "Old South" area of the country. The river area around Natchez is full of history and folklore. This image seems to capture a connection to those days with whispers of ghosts and hard living. I am enjoying your portfolio, as I have been to some of the places in your images years ago.

I like the shore line, and the way the cloud cover draws my attention to the sunbeams in the distance. It seems to fit the title very well also. With the high vantage point, it seems like it is a very long way to the sunbeam. The natural looking light tones look right in this version.

B 17 Touchdown

This looks like a long lens shot at high shutter speed, and cropped to just the essential part of the image. The dusty or hazy lighting gives it a very nostalgic look, perfect for the scene IMO.
Good capture timing, right beyond the first touchdown.

I like the combination of old iron and plant colors in this image. The way the iron curls, and the red against the green background makes a very striking composition. Light was just right for this also.

Red Sky In Morning

Good sharp detail all over. I shoot a lot of sunsets, but am not up early enough to get a sunrise very often.
Anyway, nice sunrise, and it looks like it may turn into a rainy day later.
I have found that it works best for me to just get the skyline in the bottom of this type shot, so that there is less black space at the bottom and more sky with detail in the frame.
