Paradise Vistaby AliciaComment: I like that sky too. We get the same here a lot in the summer, but not so often in winter. |

Feb-14-wash-cross-2.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Nice that you posted the practical side of the story here. We have a swing bridge about like this near here. I will be posting a pic or two of it when I get on the river again. |

Day 13by renegade1966Comment: Looks fine to me. That is a very complex scheme of stone work in the building. |

Day 12by renegade1966Comment: What a neat ad gimmick. I wonder what it is made of? The up turned camera angle is good with this one too. |

Day 13: American Morningby EBJonesComment: Nothing at all wrong with this image. I also like the flag being a dash of color in the blue of the sky. If there was a way to get the horizon in the image, it would be improved. I don't know if you could have done that and kept the open space under the trees and buildings which looks so nice. |

Feb-13-Wash-Cross.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Well, Shoot! Why didn't they just use the bridge? LOL : )
That was a pivotal event in human history. It was an act of desperation that turned out to be an hour of greatness. It took a lot of courage to pull it off too.
Nicely presented with the way you have added the side panel and border. Message edited by author 2007-02-13 23:38:19. |

Miller House Day 12by emily212Comment: Beautiful setting, and it must have been lonely there when this home was first in use. I agree with crop the top down to the snow line, and let people wonder how high the mountains are behind the house. This would be terrific on a clear day and with a polarizer. |
