Smaugby xianartComment: The little critters will sure miss their homes, and you will miss the woods nearby too. At least they do not remove every tree when they clear for pasture in this area. Good shot of the fire. |

_DSC3936school.jpgby griz210Comment: Nice image of a time long gone. Good exposure to get the detail on the shady side of the building, and the sky looks like a very good morning. I am glad that they don't always burn or tear this kind of buildings down, as they represent the history of a place, and are a physical link to the past. They make good subjects for modern photographers too. |

IMG_1990.jpgby kreshkinComment: Nice graphic quality to this. Compose carefully when shooting, and you can eliminate things like the bit of grass that is in the corner to make images that are stronger, and easier to process later. This may be a good candidate for processing very high contrast. It is a shame when an insturment capable of giving many hours of pleasure gets discarded. |

Winter's day in the parkby ShutterPugComment: Do they allow air boats here? : )
I see that they don't get many tourists this time of year at this place. I love the isolation.
Thanks for going out today to get these to share with all of us. Message edited by author 2007-02-13 00:05:47. |

snow tracksby ShutterPugComment: Georgeous, with 5 primary elements, the stone, the tree, the mountain, the snow, and the sky. I like the way the stone, tree, and mountain seem to be in line. |

Mt McKinley, a.k.a. Denaliby ShutterPugComment: Wow, you certainly got a clear day for this capture!
I am curious about how far this viewpoint is from the mountain.
Some of my friends drove up there a couple of years ago, but it was summer. |
