Key Bridgeby instepsComment: This is interesting to me because it looks like a frame out of an old B&W movie from the 1920's. |

Pinhole lens, Pere Marquette number 1223 steam locomotiveby jmickeviComment: This one's nice! I see that you kept the coaling tower in the photo too which is a nice touch.
With the D7000, you can look up "Non CPU Lenses" in the shooting menus and dial in no aperture number (beyond f1.2,) if you didn't already find that.
You can also shoot in Aperture Priority (A) mode and it will meter the exposure with the pinhole lens, or any lens you put on it. That's one of my fav features of the 7K because using the old Nikkor- Ai glass makes me happy. |

My Pink Dogwoodby PennyStreetComment: That looks almost like film grain. This one is pretty sharp for a pinhole shot. I am guessing by the iso and shutter speed that the pinhole is a tiny one. '
The big DOF works nicely for this scene too. |

Poker Faceby AbraComment: Great concept! I thought this one would probably do much better in the challenge. |

springby bspurgeonComment: "Everybody's goin' surfin',,,,, surfin' USA" Brian Wilson/Beach Boys. I know it's a tube, but this was my first impression.
Well done to include the sun the way you have here. It's part of the scene for what's going on here.

What's the story in Balamory?by Ecce_SignumComment: That's a pretty sharp shooting pinhole. I like the colors and the traps in the foreground in this one. This is a good example of how a pinhole lens has great DOF. |
