This pinhole lens stuff is a good match for your dreamy and colorful image style.

This is sweet! I always wondered what a real "Cootie" looked like : )
A coot nest is on my current list of bird nests to find.

I can see where the "full frame" sensor makes a big difference in the amount of detail captured with the pinhole technique. This one is very nice, with lots of interesting color.

This must have been over water to get this much light from below. Nice sky in this one. It's not overpowering the subject.
If this is a large bird, we have a species similar in build here, the Wood Stork, but ours have bald heads, and completely different markings.

I'm impressed that the two items lined up so perfectly for this. I like it too, when things like this just happen to unexpectedly be in an image.

This is interesting to me because it looks like a frame out of an old B&W movie from the 1920's.

This one's nice! I see that you kept the coaling tower in the photo too which is a nice touch.
With the D7000, you can look up "Non CPU Lenses" in the shooting menus and dial in no aperture number (beyond f1.2,) if you didn't already find that.
You can also shoot in Aperture Priority (A) mode and it will meter the exposure with the pinhole lens, or any lens you put on it. That's one of my fav features of the 7K because using the old Nikkor- Ai glass makes me happy.

That looks almost like film grain. This one is pretty sharp for a pinhole shot. I am guessing by the iso and shutter speed that the pinhole is a tiny one. '
The big DOF works nicely for this scene too.

Great concept! I thought this one would probably do much better in the challenge.
