golden dreamsby knikkiComment: Nice, but more DOF would have made this one more interesting to me. |

Landscape with Nesting Swansby nickybComment: It must have been a tough decision about cropping the tree tops and leaving in more blank sky or using this version with less empty sky. A good partly cloudy day would have been sweet, but we can't do much about the weather. Beautiful scene BTW. |

egrets14shutterbug by debbiedsdComment: The light reflected off the water and the dark BG make this quite striking! Most people overexpose white birds. This one is just right.
Congrats on the ribbon. |

Skyward Dreamsby cowtownmomComment: This is an event made for photographers. I see some of the balloons that were there in 06. It's a grand experience. One of the balloons landed next to me, and it turned out that they were from less than 100 miles from my home in Florida. We became friends and still connect often.
It looks like you were having a great day there too. Good image. |

Surfersby GermaineComment: This pinhole lens stuff is a good match for your dreamy and colorful image style. |

May 07 - Cute cootsby hajekaComment: This is sweet! I always wondered what a real "Cootie" looked like : )
A coot nest is on my current list of bird nests to find. |

Garageby tvsometimeComment: I can see where the "full frame" sensor makes a big difference in the amount of detail captured with the pinhole technique. This one is very nice, with lots of interesting color. |

ibisby disassociationComment: This must have been over water to get this much light from below. Nice sky in this one. It's not overpowering the subject.
If this is a large bird, we have a species similar in build here, the Wood Stork, but ours have bald heads, and completely different markings. |

The Shadowby MagnumphotographyComment: I'm impressed that the two items lined up so perfectly for this. I like it too, when things like this just happen to unexpectedly be in an image. |
