Grazin' in the Grassby JutildaComment: The backlight looks good thru the fuzz on the seed pods, and good bokeh too.
Now the song is stuck in my head LOL. It was huge when it first came out in 66 or 67. |

143_4342 copy.jpgby ChinabunComment: This is a nice sharp shot. Too bad that wall is in the back, giving away the location as not being in the wild.
A different angle, maybe from a little higher or lower or vertical crop would help some. Moving the subject off center some (rule of thirds) would improve the shot too.
These birds have most interesting eyes, and are extremely curious. If you use a polarizer, they will peck at their reflection in it. They can bite, but they have no teeth, so it isn't painful. |

Ashland-shadows-3by AgaricusComment: I like the puddle of light in this image, and the way it makes the one trunk reflect in the dark water. |

Ashland-shadows-2by AgaricusComment: I feel that it would have helped this shot a lot to have moved or zoomed closer in on the contrasting leaves of the plant on the left. I feel that there is a good image in a square crop with the dead plant almost corner to corner.
The contrasting subject, the dead plant is not big enough in the thumb to make people want to open the image to see what it is.
The lighter reflection of a tree trunk in the center of the water draws my eyes away from the nice upward flow of the dead leaves.
I hope this didn't sound too harsh. It's just what I am seeing, and I'm no expert. |

by messerschmittComment: Cool daylight shot. I like the way each of the light beams thru the cracks split into two lines on the floor due to the out of focus rings of confusion. |

Break Timeby GermaineComment: No wonder all these pix are blurry, all of you are on acid. I thought that was a 60's thing.
It looks like everyone is watching the guy in the foreground disappear. |

Born To Be Wildby jmritzComment: Good stuff! It looks like they are going off into open space with the white background in this image. |

~~~~~~~by annigComment: Be careful with that Canon in the swimming pool : )
I thought I was out of pix too yesterday, but the rolling shot from the bridge got things going again for me. |
