My favorite pondby tinky2Comment: This is a pretty spot, and full of life too. I like the heavy tree line, and the way the light moves from top to bottom in the picture. |

01 - Wood Duckby ErikVComment: For a duck in the water shot, it don't get any better than this. Excellent. |

Nov 1 - Reflection in the nightby hajekaComment: I like to shoot night shots like this with water too. I am guessing that you had to use whatever was handy for a "tripod" with the result being the out of level horizon. Did you use the low ISO to get the longer exposure, or was that an oversight? Nice shot for just a snapshot while out and about, without actually being prepared for it. |

From Paul's rock Day 1.jpgby tnunComment: Awesome neighborhood! It looks like you were looking inland when you shot this one. It looks like the waves are diminishing as the water recedes into the distance. It is a very scenic place. |

03 - Arch Bridgeby ErikVComment: A gradient filter would have helped with getting the reflection to show up better with this shot. Good find, and you did a nice job of getting everything without blowing out the hilights. |

Can U Spot the BARRACUDA ? ?by dmaddenComment: This is a good find, and even with the horizon out of level, it makes a cool looking image. It also looks a lot like a moray eel with the split at the end of the limb, but more people recognize a barracuda, so good choice for the title. I can see that you were using the bottom part of the stump as the base line in your composition, and why you overlooked the horizon when shooting this. |

day 29. slice of life. split personalityby rozComment: You seem to be getting to be an expert with processing images lately. All that experimentation is now sorted out, and great processing is becoming a part of your style. I just came by to visit your portfolio, and have been pleasantly surprised with your progress toward excellence. |

Racing-Colors.jpgby bergiekatComment: Great shapshot portrait of someone who is "into it" big time.
You may be able to reduce the reflection in the glasses quite a lot with the same tool that you use to remove dust bunnies. I have done that before, just keep working to the center of the reflection from the edges of it, blending the darker outside edge into the reflection. Experiment with different size brushes with the tool. |

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Buildingby wickee_oneComment: The time was right for this capture, with the lights on the building balanced with the light level of the rest of the shot so well. I would guess that the building has a history of interest. Nice processing with this shot. |
