I have been working on trying to get good interesting shots of areas similar to this in the swamps of the Florida Everglades, and it seems that the scenes are just too complex for images that are to be viewed at 640 pix wide size. The places are beautiful when visited in person, but it just does not come thru in smaller pics. The filter helped with the color in this one.

It's nice that you were able to capture this at the time when the blue was strong in the sky, as it makes the reds look so nice when it is this vivid. The river must be quite a relief from the dry desert area there.

Baby gators always look so intense with their slit eyes. The duckweed makes for a very colorful shot here.

I like the very abstract look of this shot. Ceramics are a very enduring art form. Even after empires and civilizations go away, some of the pottery will remain. Technically a good image too.

Cool shot, and good idea to shoot this when you found it.
It looks like an old painting of a hammock that exploded near an old milk pail next to a clothes line pole. Ditto what tinky2 said.
