6 - Cactus Sideby ErikVComment: If those hooked spikes are hard and not soft, then I would guess that this stuff is treacherous to get off if it gets into hair or loose weave clothing like a sweater. Light, shadow and DOF all work nicely in this shot. A dark background would make the plant stand out much better. |

December-5.jpgby bauerfan71Comment: This interests me because of my background with old tractors and farm equipment. I think that it may have been better from a lower angle to reduce the background to sky as much as possible. It's good for an existing light shot though. |

Day-07-Trees.jpgby KenComment: That is a crazy effect/filter. It looks a lot like when you breathe on the lens to fog it just before you shoot, but with a different twist because of the lightening around dark objects. |

Curves of Rigaby waou85Comment: This is very nice. I like the frame of the old iron, and the curving wave in the water, the little dash of color with the boats, and the straight line of the buildings in the back. This would have been an exceptional shot had the sky been nice and deep blue and I understand that we can't always wait for that to happen.
