Color Studyby mia67Comment: This scene reminds me of a few months that I spent in Michigan a long time ago. It's pretty when it snows like this in the country side, but it's a mess in town.
The color of the car and the grunge border help to accent the "cold hard facts" in this shot. I brush oak leaves off my truck here in the mornings.

If the Rebel has a W/B setting for cloudy days, using that will make flower colors come out about right straight from the camera when shooting in daylight. I don't see how the reds could be much redder than they appear here. |

Twin Bridges - East Padenby bs-photosComment: I saw your 3 bridge shots in another thread. It's nice that you have the history of them for us with each shot. It's a shame that the other bridge like this is out now, but maybe it will be rebuilt some day.

S H I N Yby RetroesqueComment: This is very urban looking. I like everything except the stones or paper on the sidewalk, which would be easy to fix. I see a complete image in the right hand 1/4 of the whole photo, with the one display model and the street scene. |
