Lamplightby GermaineComment: This is another of your recent trademark evening shots. If you have access to the switch for the lights, you can set up with a tripod and long exposure (1 sec or longer) and have someone blink the light one time, very briefly during the exposure to get an entirely different effect. It's extra good with small aperture, or cross star filter.
What you are doing is very dramatic, and it makes for interesting photos. I think part of the mystique is in the shadow areas. |

Snowy Terrainby annigComment: I like this whole scene. I also see the bit of pink color in the snow in the foreground. Your home area with it's rolling hills is one of the most picturesque places in the country in the winter, for snowy landscape shots. |

Surf Up - Caloundra - Day 5by sherpetComment: This is a nice little bite of life. I like that you went vertical and included the horizon and the jet ski as well as the people nearby. Good colors with the contrasting clothing on the people. |

Horizontalby RetroesqueComment: This is interesting. I like shots like this where you have to study them for a minute to see what's actually going on.
I like the wide crop too.
Now I need a nap : ) |

Lombise New Yearby SnapperLComment: The exposure and composition is excellent in this shot. I can't believe that they only have one "firework" to launch. You were lucky to capture it. LOL. |

Town Deer Day 4by riversongComment: This is making me feel cold. I don't see how animals survive at all where it snows and gets so cold in the winter. They are just so much tougher than we humans are. That's a pretty scene with the mural behind the deer and all the snow and light framing it. |
